Calculating square footage is easy! For example, to determine the square footage of a garden bed that is five feet wide by ten feet long, simply multiply 5 x 10 to get a total square footage of 50.

Compost:
Mix 2-3” into the top 6-8” of soil to add organic matter and improve friability (workability), drainage and moisture retention.
Mulch:
For optimal results, apply 2-3″ for pathways and around perennials and shrubs, and 3-4″ around trees.
Gravel and Stone:
2-3″ for pathways
7″ for driveways
